Βλέποντας τη Second Life σαν τελείως παρθένο τόπο χωρίς καθόλου ιθαγενείς όπου όλες οι φυλές είναι ουσιαστικά μετανάστες σκέφτηκα να κάνω ένα «Στέκι» πρωταρχικά για έλληνες αλλά και όχι μόνο. Σκοπός μου είναι να υφίσταται ένας χώρος πραγματικός όπου θα συγκεντρωνόμαστε, παρέες παρέες ή και μόνος του ο καθένας, όπου οι νέοι στην S.L. θα βρίσκουν βοήθεια σε απορίες τους και στα πρώτα βήματά τους, όπου θα ανταλλάσσονται ιδέες και σκέψεις, όπου θα γνωρίζουμε και θα επικοινωνούμε με άλλους ανθρώπους, όπου θα γοητευόμαστε ή θα απογοητευόμαστε, όπου τέλος πάντων οι παρέες θα γίνονται κοινότητες και θα είναι το σημείο αναφοράς ελλήνων και μη στον ονειρικό κόσμο της S.L.

Seeing Second Life as a completely virgin land, without indigenous inhabitants, and where all races are essentially migrants, I thought of creating another “Steki” for Greeks and their friends. For everyone, in effect. My goal is to create a place that is real so that we may meet, converse, learn, create, share, dream. I also want this to be a place where new migrants to SL, newbies, can seek help and guidance as they take their first virtual steps here. I hope this place will become alive with communication between people of all walks of life, a place where we may become inspired by others, enticed by different ideas, or even disappointed by them, but that we remain together, part of a group that has no bounds, but that is safe. A point of contact for Greeks and everyone in this, our Second Life.
